A streamlined booking service is a key to success for Stuart Riddell’s thriving photographic business. The Auckland-based studio, which specialises in family portraits, uses paging as part of the communication solution to ensure its team of studio representatives have the latest booking schedule and up-to-date information about clients requirements.
Regular group messages are automatically sent to the representatives to advise them of revisions to the booking schedule, and individual messages are sent to representatives where required. This means representatives can confidently offer clients a booking time, and follow up with personalised service.
Stuart Riddell Portrait Design has found pagers to be the ideal method of communicating with its mobile team of studio representatives. Particular advantages include:

  • Studio representatives set their pagers to ‘vibrate’ meaning they can discreetly receive messages without disrupting meetings with clients.
  • Representatives share the same pager number and therefore only incur one monthly connection fee.
